Koicentrum Sneek was founded out of pure passion for Koi. You can see this in everything! Our shop, products and advice have only one goal, namely the well-being of the Koi and your enjoyment of the hobby!

The store

Our shop in Jutrijp has various ponds with koi in all sizes and all prices. In addition to Koi, you will find all the products you need to build or maintain a good pond, and of course not to forget Koifood.

How it started…

More than 20 years ago, the passion for koi was created by a neighbor who was digging a big hole. Curious I went to have a look as a little boy and slowly became infected with the koi virus. The 3 years after that I volunteered at the Holland Koi Show and learned a lot about keeping Koi. So I rolled into a side job at a large dealer from Nijkerkerveen.

A few years later, the step was taken to open a shop in beautiful Friesland … (Of course this is a very short version …)

The nice thing about the story is that my neighbor at the time is now a good friend, can be found regularly in the store and occasionally helps out if the store is running if necessary.

Our Koi

Our shop has various ponds from small to large, all equipped with professional filter systems that ensure the best water conditions for our Koi. We don’t cut down on bacteria, food and water treatment products, we only use the best! All our ponds are provided with continuous water changes.

Every week we make a preventative smear of our koi to check them for parasites. In addition, a specialized vet comes by several times a year to check our ‘own work’. This way you as a customer are assured of a healthy koi that you can enjoy immediately, from the moment he swims in your pond.
